If taking iodine wasn't safe, then no one would be making it...or buying it.

Barefoot herbalist's logic is seriously flawed. I've been taking iodine internally for nearly two weeks. I haven't suffered any ill effects.

When I read the subject title of this thread, I just laughed and thought, "Before saying something isn't safe,  try it out (or at least research it).

Just stating my opinion. I hope I didn't ruffle any feathers.
