I've used both. I have no idea which one is better because I've never had any kind of testing done. The footpads do remove heavy metals, but the question is how much? When I started on footpads, I was extremely toxic and desperate for relief from heavy metal symptoms. I never saw them as a total solution, just another way to get metals out of my body when nothing else seemed to be working fast enough to bring relief. I stopped buying the footpads when I didn't feel better in the morning after using them. It has been several years since I used footpads, so I don't remember the exact brand I used. Although there are many brands only a few companies actually make them and all are located in Japan and Korea. You want the Japanese footpads. The Koreans use inferior ingredients.
Pascallite is very good. Mostly I use it for foot soaks because I have detox rashes on my feet. I think it is superior to any clay for baths/soaks. It is possible to eat Pascallite too but I've never done that. If cost is an issue, Pascallite gives you more for your money.
By the way, don't put all of your eggs in one basket as far as chelators go. There are many metals and toxins out there, but no chelator gets them all. Check out the Iodine Supplementation forum, it is working wonders for lots of people. Cilantro is an herb that removes metal. MH would recommend long term fasting to remove metal. There are many other options for chelation. Curezone has lots of information on this subject.
Please don't start any serious chelation (chelators that you consume internally) until you have all of your metal fillings removed.
