I did a search at the Yahoo group and found a message from a member who is a patient of Dr. Jorge Flechas, she asked him several questions and one of them was about Vit. C.  He said to take it in buffered form as the "regular C" (ascorbic acid) "would not have the same effect".  He added that it (buffered C) could be taken with or near the iodine.
