When your hair falls out from thyroid problems, it doesn't fall out from the root - it breaks off at 1/4 inch or so because it's weak. I have been using a volumizer/strengthener and it has worked wonders.

For a test for the adrenals, you can do a saliva test - if you find a Dr. who believes in adrenal fatigue. There's no ICD code for insurance, so lots of Dr.'s done believe there is such a thing. I've been taking Dr. Wilson's supplements for that (http://adrenalfatigue.org/), and they're helping.
