"WHY" is it that watermelon many times makes a person Pee more ?
More than what? Or Whom?
Could it have anything to do with what the watermelon is made of ?
Yes!!! A watermelon is 92% water, and water causes urination as do other things.
What Mineral are most watermelons high in ? Could it be Potassium ?
Not really, potassium is found in higher amounts than Zn, Fe, K, Na, yet in comparison it contains only 1/3 as much potassium as a banana, and an orange contains 1.5 X more potassium than a watermelon per weight.
So, how could more Potassium Cause one to Pee more ?
Not unless you are taking spoonfuls of the stuff.
More Sodium than Potassium may Cause the Cell to hold moisture internally !
Wrong. Actually sodium causes the cell to lose water. Because it cannot just move sodium to the outside of the cell, it requires water. So in fact, it is the sodium that causes urination, and not the potassium.
Potassium actually affects in a positive manner the acid-base metabolism, which can reduce the chance of stones and calcium loss in bones.
Whereas more Potassium than Sodium may Cause the Cell to get rid of moisture from the inside of the Cell, to the outside of the Cell structure !
Obviously wrong. A diet high in potassium is recommended for good health. Some of the benefits include reduced IBD, Stroke, heart attacks, high blood pressure, asthma and osteoporosis.
So, when one eats foods , which are higher in Potassium than Sodium, this may Cause one to Pee a lot more !
No, that is wrong. See example of Banana whose K:Na ratio is 358:1, Watermelon (112:1), Apple (107:1),
If ML is right, then people who like these fruits would be urinating day and night.
Could this be so?
And one is not able to Hold their water, may be another term used ?
Seems to me, someone (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) is not able to hold their liquor. The only time I hear ideas, and grammar like this is from drunk people. It this the source of his wisdom, the alcohol fueled expert?
Surely it could not be this Simple?
Could it be ?
When we eat foods, which have the Nitrate bound with too much Potassium, then the body cannot hold it's water , and also the Blood cannot hold enough "Oxygen" !
Wrong, it is pure nonsense. Potassium nitrate will not interfere with hemoglobin oxygenation, nor will it.
That he is concerned about urination goes to show how little he knows about the body. There are really no conditions in which urination could be considered undesirable, it removes urea from the body, as well as sodium, chloride, bicarbonates, creatinine and more.
How long can “YOU” Live without URINATING?
Urination is good.
Surely it could not be this Simple?
Could it be so?
Could it be?
Could it?
Could?
