Hi Anna,
by the clowns at the fda the makers of dmso have to print on the jar to use as a solvent only, trust me you can put it on your skin 2 times a day.try to use the one on your skin with aloe in it so you dont smell like a garlic factory.if the pain persists try to get some arnica montana cream its wonderful for bruises and pain.
