Something seems a little bit "off" about this post to me, but if you are a new mother who is breastfeeding, you should ideally target somewhere between 1 and 5-8 years -- on the lower end of that average is fine.

I have never heard a woman on this forum talk about her projected BF length of time and describe it as "scary." I smell a rat.
