YOU SHOULD NEVER take caprylic acid , hcl, hydrocloric acid, or even papain, bromelin etc. on an empty stomach. those are acid!! they can break down a nail. depending on the stregnth of each individial one. they break down protiens. they will eat away at the stomach lining. you need a little food with those.
