Hi Everyone,
Recently a poplular KP forum shut down. It may be back, but in case it doesn't get repaired, this is as good a place as any to talk about natural and alternative KP remedies.
I had mild KP all of my adult life -- no redness, but bumps all over my cheeks, upper arms, upper thighs and buttocks. I started oil pulling last summer. In three weeks, my kp diminished by about 90%. After a few more months, there was a bit more lessening, and I would say it is 95% less now. Oil pulling hasn't been as successfull in removing the redness for everyone -- though some have reported success -- but I think it is worth trying.
Good oils to use are coconut, sunflower, untoasted sesame and avocado. Whichever type you use, be sure it is cold-pressed and/or expeller pressed (they are virtually the same thing)and organic.
