To everyone sorry i have not been on.
Coconut cold pressed oil is definately good for your hair and takes away debris and dandruff on top of the scalp so its a good emu oil alternative.
Also if you have unprocessed coconut butter is another good alternative to shea and cocoa. Except that its more oilier.
For those that are saying they are losing their hair or its thinning more try alternating with cocoa butter or mix the cocoa butter and shea together.
I tend to alternate between them both and have no problems with this.
Also with shea butter and cocoa butter in order to distribute through your hair easier melt it in a pot like you would chocolate.
Also i cannot emphasise this enough. But i always use natural shampoos from the health food store without any harsh solvents like petrolatum (crude oil), cocamide dea sodium laureth sulphate all bad for the hair and can also make it worser. It doesnt matter what shampoo you get. But there the ones i mix with the cocoa butter or shea or both. Natural shampoos leave the hair shiny and make the hair less dry. But if your hair becomes too dry, try a coconut oil hair mask or condition with natural hair conditioner or mask once a week. This will again deflate you hair but its good to condition atleast once a week or every second week which i do. Also health food stores provide natural shampoos for hair loss so you cna use those to mix with shea, cocoa or coconut butter.
Another reason my hair does not fall out and is strong now is because of my raw food diet. Consists of home made protein sprouts, fruit and raw veggies, raw desserts, nuts and seeds.
I also make my own almond milk with sesame seeds everyday which strengthens the hair and gives protein to the hair.
To do this you will need a nut milk bag strainer, cup of natural unroasted almonds, 1/2 or cup of sesame seed. To taste a tablespoon of agave syrup or honey or yacon syrup. Or you may use stevia or xylitol or go without any sweetener if you like.
Put water in blender, then put in the almonds and sesame seeds. Blend till you get much of the seeds milked.
Pur the mixture of nuts and seed into the nut milk bag strainer. Strain the milk into the bowl. Then pour into a glass jar. Add more water to the jar to fill it up if you like. Referigerate. Good hair loving goodness. Usually the leftover nut chunks are made into living raw food desserts or you may compost it or throw it away or eat it alone.
A little sneak peek at the raw food diet video

IM on the 75% raw food which means i still eat occasionally cooked foods and meats.
If you dont eat meat at all then definately you need to supplement with vitamin b12. This diet requires alot of reasearch.
