F'ing is different from normal zapping. Usually 3m of the correct frequency does the trick. Of course one would need to know the correct frequency, therefore the need to run long scripts...

Don't know about the best time, but I do it in the evening, a good DVD collection while in zapping position (feet on pads and holding handholds) helps...

Sounds nuts to me :)
