"Can we see what is really going on?
M*******h is under pressure by Big Pharma! Along with an ambitious TX A.T. with political motives?"
I'm certainly no fan of the pharmaceutical industry and how they pressure and entice unscrupulous politicians into pushing their agenda. However, to say that the action against M*******h was brought about as some sort of "Big Pharma" Conspiracy is, in my opinion, reaching. Just as there is reason to think that the supplements marketed by M*******h may have benefit for some of those who consume them, it is also evident that enthusiastic associates may have gone over the edge in promoting them.
If this was the first encounter that Sam Caster or his companies had with the Texas Attorney General's Office, then your argument might be more believable. But since there have been two other occasions in which action was brought against him during his career in marketing, then I believe that line of thinking is diminished in it's credibility. I believe what seems obvious; Complaints have been made by citizens of Texas concerning M*******h's marketing tactics and promises by some of it's associates of "miraculous healing" either by direct or indirect means. Efforts to curb associates' rhetoric and get them to refrain from such activity have been minimal an ineffective. All of this will come out if the case goes to trial but a settlement of some kind seems more likely, with no admission of guilt.
Greg
P.S. For what It's worth, I'm not trying to push anyone's button here. I'm just stating my opinion based on what I've read.
