Maybe there's a little bit of a psychological thing about it too.  Kinda hard to feel amourous while you're duking worms right and left plus the fact, I know in my case, that if you're now aware that they're crawling around on the outside (or inside) of your body, do you really want any "human touch" for now, lol?
