Ya know, we may all experience our own individual successes here and there with getting people to think about / consider new/different information long enough to get past their engrained reactions "conspiracy theory!" and actually learn something from somebody else. On my end, over the long haul, this has turned into a repetitive grind with spotty successes to speak of here and there. I'm convinced that a better approach is to keep my mouth shut and otherwise hope to lead by example.

EDIT: Vulcanel, since you are still getting carded, you seem to be the specimen kind of example I'm thinking of. I mean, aside from the cashier/checkout, do you not have other people coming up to you, or friends, siblings, parents, wondering what your secret is or how/why you've been able to maintain youthful health? For a lot of people, seeing (by example) is believing.... kinda like the restaurant scene from Harry/Sally - "I want whatever she had!" I can imagine that this would really help your cause of even needing to have conversational tricks up your sleave to get around engrained barriers that you might encounter.
