That was a waste of your time and your money. What a jerk! I'd say you fell into the chair of one the worst of the worst. Amazing he didn't come up with a root canal too, except he was probably gearing you up for the next visit.

This kind of dental exam just validates what we have been saying all along. Hell, I don't know why people are still going to this idiots unless they have an abcess or something major. I'm sorry to vent, but they have caused so much damage, pain and cost to people. They are virtually unnecessary, but we are so brainwashed, that most people still visit them every 6 months as INSTRUCTED. Why? Because that is what the ADA and our parents told us to do, and the TV......Your dentist loves it..it's easy money if you just book your 6 month appt. Do you go see your doctor every 6 months? No you don't. The ADA has a VERY effective marketing campaign. Along with how great flouride is for you!

EVERYONE...before you go back to the next dentist, please order and read this e-book about dental self-sufficiency. What I learned from this book? You know when you go sit in the dental chair and they pick at your teeth with those sharp prongs? What are they doing? They are trying to break through your enamel looking for weak spots. And if they do break through, what do they do? They begin a new cavity....Makes sense, right? *Edited* Just remember, for the first few years you are paying off their huge college finance loans, and after that it's all about lifestyle. And I may not be finished with this post as I think of other things to say.

One more thing, a dentist gave my Mom a broad spectrum Antibiotic that was so powerful that it gave her colitis.....bastard.
