I was tested via a type specific culture when i was first diagnosed 10 years ago. I have had a few outbreaks each year and i have just had 4 tests done Anti HSV 1 lgG & 1gM and Anti HSV2 lgG & lgM......they all showed negative. My last outbreak was approximately 6-7 weeks ago. I am totally astounded by this and i will be going back for another test in a month just to check.....have you ever heard of this happening before?
