Someone once told me that you can tell by the appearance of plants, which organs they nurture. Cut a carrot in half and look at the center. It looks like an eye. Cut a piece of cauliflower in half. It looks like an ear. I guess maybe corn is good for the teeth.
I just remembered that lecture and have always believed cauliflower is good for the ears.
