Hi up until two weeks ago my gums were bleeding so bad that there would be blood on the pillow every morning when I woke up. My mouth would literally be full of blood. I have been oil pulling with a drop of Neem Oil in my sunflower oil pull in the morning and then in the night I have been adding a drop to my tooth paste. I would say that I am not totally home and dry though there is hardly any bleeding and that is in two weeks. I also bought a hard tooth brush and although it was painful for the first few days I brushed really hard with it. I am not sure where you are but I am in the UK and the neem oil was really inexpensive here.
