Isn't that going in exactly the opposite direction? If you had a fish tank with scum on it, and just hosed it down, you would certainly get a lot of the loose stuff pushed through quickly, but you wouldn't really be scrubbing the walls clean. The effect of the fiber supplement, whether Colonix or something else, is to scrub the walls clean.
