I like my doctor and his nurse practioner. I just never go to them unless I have something specific, like an out of control infection.

But in the day when they could not diagnose me (I ended up with a diagnosis of costochondritis, inflammation of the rib cartilidge, which is a diagnosis of exclusions) they had me on so many drugs. But that was me asking for the drugs, to be fair. They refused to give me Antibiotics many times. They refused to give me strong painkillers because they are narcotic.

It was not until I began screaming loudly that they relented. And then the floodgates opened. Gabapentin, percoset, darvoset....you name it, I used them like a pusher. But I would get these long lectures about addiction. I hated going there BECAUSE I wanted the prescription pad out....Boy have I changed.

So, I don't think Seymour is evil. I think he's an OK guy. He once listened to me for an hour while I talked about my out of control anxiety. He gave my husband v1agra, which was good for everyone at the time.

I often wondered what I would do if something really bad happens to me. They both know my lifesytle, and they tease me about it, but they don't mock me.

Now, don't get me started on dentists...I could go on and on.
