Very deceptive and dishonest. This is why I sometimes refer to you as an apologist. This snippet is taken from a larger section detailing the separation of nitrogen isotopes - that is they have different nitrogen isotopes.
In this case the ion exchange depends on the charge of the species so it requires them to be either acidic or basic. Though the separation could just as well be accomplished with the nitrogen species in the acidic state. The reasons why they state it is preferred is irrelevant to this discussion and would lead us into a technical discussion of little value.
Nitrogen is in the Isotope Alkaline form
ML has suggested that pH transforms nitrogen into different isotopes. He has also suggested that some isotopes are acidic and some basic - both are blatant lies that should not be tolerated. Even if you support some of his ideas. as the only person not banned from the ML forum with some understanding of this stuff I think it your responsibility to make this clear.
