I wonder if we are preventing cavities by squishing the water/Lugol solution around when drinking it several times a day? If a stronger solution applied at a low frequency as described in the article prevented cavities, why would a daily lower Iodine percentage not this as well? Also, since Iodine is a necessary mineral in teeth it would directly remineralize in addition to whats in the saliva?
