How very true. It is almost unfair to all those who have exercised like fiends and dieted like vegetarian monks, but the fact is you can change to a healthy lifestyle in your 40's, 50's and beyond and regain almost all of the years and health you may have lost due to bad diet and lifestyle.

Of course, it is best to convert to a healthy lifestyle as early as you can, and those who wait until later may have to pay attention to correcting and surviving some damaged areas. Almost certainly, the late health bloomers will damn sure have to figure how to get off any addictions to mainstream medicines which MAY string out a lesser quality of life a few years and allow you to keep bad habits, but will also slowly and surely kill you before your time.

I have an upcoming book that has been in the works for years now, tentatively titled "How to Live a Long and Healthy Life", and I have a website I am building feverishly right now called "The Best Years in Life" (http://www.tbyil.com) that still has a LOT of work to do to get all the free content up and going. Both of those projects center around the "never too late" idea.

Once I conclude my "Oleander" series here, I may just do one on How to Live a Long and Healthy Life. What say you?
