Oh I believe that it is very real, as do about 95% plus of the worlds scientists. What I do not believe is the long term forecast that calls for continued warming throught the end of next century and beyond - I think that actually there is more of a danger of warming being a temporary respite in a trend towards another mini-ice age, and that as a result, we may actually tip faster and further with greater consequences than the warming timeline recently published here.

Now, I am not a qualified scientist; however, based on all the spin doctoring and unscientific disinformation our of Washington these days, neither are most of the government Science spokes people.
