Hi Sbia,
I got a little sample sachet of palmers cocoa butter. I have not used this on my hair but i will try it now to see what it does and get back to you.

I think the sticky oiliness is from the vitamin E as this is known to make the hair stick. Rinse your hair out with 1/2 cup of apple juice and 1 tsp of white vinegar to already washed wet hair and then rinse.

I just read the ingredients of the palmers and i would advise to try organic nexttime. The dangerous ingredients in palmers is mineral oil(not good for hair), propylene glycol, glycerin, chloride, palm oil, petrolatum(crude oil), dimethicone, stearate, methylparaben, wax, propylaparaben(xenoestrogen),colours preservaties yellow no 5 and orange number 4

(edit)OK i just tried the palmers cocoa butter with vitamin e at the ends of my hair to see how it turned out. My hair is naturally dry so it drinks alot of oil. My hair felt oily but after rinsing it my hair was clumping together. I blow dried my hair straight away and brushed it the clumps came out and it gives me the same results, except my hair looks shiny and my hair feels dry like straw and the thickeness only lasted 10 mins so its flat (not sure why). But im very dissapointed in palmers because if you have bleached blonde hair it makes your hair darker. I do not recommend palmers for oily or bleached hair. But according to the ingredients i do not recommend it for anyone.

PALMERS COCOA BUTTER RATING 2/10 I do not recommend it!
