I am with you... I do not believe that increasing grain consumption is wise... and whole grain or not, Genetically-Modified-Organisms = Bad news.

I think the smart thing to do under the current environment would be to, as you said, grind your own or source a good non-gmo whole rice bran and use a spoonful a day as Owen does in his yogurt.
