This story attracted my attention and I had to
pass it on to my own daughter who was raised on
sugar-free bubble gum since we did not know
the dangers of Aspartame when they first came
on the scene with it in the early eighties.

I had weaned her off aluminum cans, soda and
aspartame in food products like ice cream, soda,
etc. but I was not able to get her off aspartame
laced chewing gum. She was buying a pack one day
when I was with her and I did not say anything but
she could *feel* my lack of enthusiasm and protested
that it was such a little thing, a small piece
of gum. I reminded her that it only takes a little
rat poison to kill a rat. She weaned herself off
of the gum and struggles to get her BF to stop
his Aspartame habits. (diet soda)

She did not have any fillings.

The importance of this article, also is, that if
you are having weird symptoms, something as small
as the small piece of sugar-free gum can be the
culprit.

My friend, whose home I live in, got aspartame
poisoning 6 years ago. It really almost killed
her and I had been telling her it was the aspartame
but she did not *want* to believe me since she was
losing weight. She began having tremors and other
classic Aspartame poisoning symptoms but it was not
until she was going on a trip and I shoved a file full
of info on aspartame in her lap that she finally
took my warnings to heart. She returned and said
throw it all out. By this time she was also gravely
ill. Once she stopped ingesting that stuff, her
symptoms finally stopped. Now, my friends no longer
even offer any products in their home with aspartame
or Splenda.

These products are hazardous to your health, although
by virtue of big money interests, they persist in
remaining on shelves. New Mexico is one state in the
forefront of trying to get them banned in their state
but so far, big money and corporations are winning the
battle, and the real losers are the consumers.

blessings,
Zoe
