Well, somebody spoke when writing the Bible. If the Bible is simply an inanimate object, as you assert, then whoever wrote it must have been lying. If that's the case, then that's a strong case that Jesus was never meant to be seen as perfect and infallible, and you can interpret what I've been writing - not so much as a mockery of Jesus, but rather a demotion of Jesus from being a perfect being. Jesus is not perfect, so my efforts at demoting both Jesus and the churches is still fully warranted and justified.
