I agree that this forum tends to collect a kind of "soap opera" petty bickering sometimes, that's to be expected when people are actually HEARING what's being said. For example, my last post was not intended to be hurtful, but to expose the secrets of communication AND THOUGHT that prevent "reasonableness". No doubt exposing the secrets that are used to hide the truth even from themselves will be very meaningful to them (painless disappointment, but meaningful). Onlookers might consider it hurtful and think it is bickering, but it is the best thing that could ever happen to that person (it is not a "petty" confrontation, it is a very meaningful one). Even if they react by hating me, healing has already started because I became the target of their hate instead of the "world" being their target. So don't misunderstand,...conflict is good if you "conflict" against the right thing (the person not being healed).
In order to overcome anything, there must be conflict. It is human nature to resist true progress, that's why many try to make conflict PERSONAL and subjective. When that happens, we have to overcome their resistance to progress and maintain conflict as OBJECTIVE conflict. It is unfortunate that the value of conflict is not understood and that people try to make it become subjective and personal, but we must also be aware that it is happening and that we should not be disheartened by it.
In the past, I have found it necessary to, at times, take a vacation from Curezone for just this reason (twice in 6 years, but I was never so consistent a poster as you anyway). "Burnout" is like "shell shock", it means that a "REAL" person is paying attention to reality correctly.
I'm not saying that you should consider the moderator position (it's enough stress just being here), but don't say you won't be back. Take a vacation, a good long sabbatical from Curezone, get Curezone out of your mind, but always leave it open that you might be back in a year. Have fond memories of us. Whether you ever return or not, there will always be people who need help (meaning it is shortsighted and egotistical of us to think that we can change the world, we only really have the opportunity to change one person's life so that life can be enjoyed,...our own, DO THAT).
You need to be happy also, so go and enjoy life.
Thank you for having been here.
God bless you for having been here, Soulful Survivor.
