One option always for one supplementing with anything, is to cease.

Those who've asked me about Iodine supplementation before they begsn, always received my recommendation to do an Iodine loading test, such as that offered by Dr. Jorge Flechas of North Carolina, before supplementing with iodine.

Not everyone agrees with me it seems, and I respect their choice. Statistically, from what I've read, including Spirit's (the Webmaster here) Iodine survey results, most can expect to encounter no problems. However, there are special cases and yous may be one of those.

If I were doing it and experienced discontent, I'd stop. There are so many factors to health, predictions about how different folks might react to something is impossible and for this reason no blanket recommendations are meritorious ! You may find value in abstention.
