Yes I remember those days! But once they started scaring us half to death with the threat of salmonella they did a very good job of it!

But you are right. These days every time you put something in your mouth you take a chance! But if you're full of Iodine [so to speak] and other healthy things, you should be able to take care of whatever comes down the pike.
