Black… all you were trying to do is offer hope to the suffering. You do not need to apologize for that. You need a pat on the back for that.

We are a sensitive lot, us alkies, and we go off sometimes just because we know how. If anything I said left you feeling upset, then I apologize to you. You are needed here, please don’t let a nose or two bent out of shape or a flame or two run you off.

Again, you have nothing to apologize for.
