Some times we do things for peace of mind. I am willing to do ultrasounds, though I have skipped my mammograms the last 2 years.
Next week I go for an US for my endometrium, because I find that safer than biopsies, like my MD says a surgeon likes to cut and he feels that a lot of the machines have improved a lot.
If you feel that you don't want the poison but still would like to do MRI go ahead and do it without that stuff. If you get worried that you did not do the MRI, I would think that is worse for your health.
I never felt worried that I refused the poison, but that is just me. And of course we will never know if it was right or wrong because we have no comparison.
Like Wombat I am doing the Iodine too and hope that has benefitted my thickened endometrium. Time will tell. It is a balancing act to be between two views.
