I don't know anything about ozone air purifiers. One of my best friends is a Dr. who told me when I started ozonating water that I shouldn't do that because it was going to destroy all of the subsystems in my body. But he's so impressed with how much better I'm doing with Stage III thryoid cancer after 1 1/2 years of drinking ozonated water every day (with a medical-grade ozonator) that I've convinced him it's a good thing to do.
