Maintain a nutrient dense diet. Fermented foods are an important part of my diet. (homemade kefir, yogurt, fermented vegetables, beet kvass) Eat organic. No sugar, No wheat. No junk food. I am sure you know about diet. I eat according to Weston A. Price, Dr. Jordon Rubin, and Dr. Mercola. Encourage him to treat the body as a whole.

For Inflammation I take the following:

I also, when needed, take Arthro 7 by Gero Vita. I tried Garden of Life's FYI (For Your Inflammation) but it did not work for me.

I also take oxygen therapies and it will be important for him to keep his stomach and gluteus maximus muscles in shape.

In February I started Iodine therapy. I am greatly surprised at how much it has helped the nerves in my back. It works best for me when I combine the Lugol's Iodine with apple cider vinegar. It did not work as well when I took the Iodine by itself. (See Iodine Forum )
