the basic mechanics is that in order to remove toxins stored in the flesh, they must first be booted out of their hiding places by some kind of action which then puts them back in the pathways of circulation and elimination. while they are making their way to be metabolized by the liver and eliminated in the feces and urine, they do what toxins do - they make you feel bad.
