Maybe you're using the wrong type of oil.

I started out using olive oil, before trying out soybean oil and sunflower oil. To me, sunflower has no taste.

Try using coconut oil. You may get results.

Sunflower oil isn't for everyone. I tried it and while it's okay, I'd rather stick to EVCO (Extra Virgin Coconut Oil)
