I admire your patience and tolerance in replying to this person. His original post speaks for itself, in trying to demonstrate his superiority, it does quite the opposite. It sounds like this person was abused as a child and has low self esteem. I am guessing he comes from a conservative religous family and this type of abuse was normal. A normal well adjusted person does not seek to dominate others, but to help them. Unfortunately, he is the only one who can help himself, but first he has to realize he is unhapy and desire change.

I heard this crap when I was young, and at the tender age of 5, I knew it was wrong. It is the root cause of dysfunctional families/society. This "me first" attitude is behind violence, greed (corporate and personal), exploitation of the vulnerable (women, children, animals, sick, disabled, poor, elderly, immigrants, etc),pollution of the environment, contamination of food, air and water, materialism and p 0 r n o g r a p h y, etc. It hurts men too because they don't develop spiritually and remain shallow and base. What does a 5 year old get from a religion that says women should be submissive to men? That smart women don't marry, and that God is not good, fair or just, and one has to take care of oneself because neither men nor God could be trusted. Made me very strong and independent. It is a contradiction of the Golden Rule and not reflective of how Jesus acted. I am actually alot closer to God now that I refuted alot of the beliefs of the religion I was raised in and found my own path. I kept the good and left the bad. We all have souls that are connected to God/source to give us truth and know it in our heart.
