I'm sorry the world is not better than it is (grossly sorry). The heart of the Christian is measured by the cynicism of the owner, but our strength is measured by our happiness. It's the endurance of the heart that is the final determination between weakness and strength. It is unrecognized by the human mind that humility is a personal prize. That recognition should be the real purpose of our journey through life, but we are distracted to look in the wrong direction because of vanity ("All is vanity, just chasing after the wind", Solomon, Ecclesiastes).

You have more than enough reason to be upset, 79513, but do not carry that anger with you, it will color your life, bitterness prevents happiness. There are many truths expressed in scripture, but we tend not to see them because we choose to be led by that "distraction" and rather see "commands" instead of what The Lord WANTS, and what He wants is not OF us, but FOR us,...The Lord wants us to have joy in life.

It would be, not just unreasonable of us, to consider opposition of OPINION to be out of place, it would self-defeating because opposition of opinion is the foundation of debate, but that opposition should never become opposition of A PERSON.
