Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this question, but . . . my conventional Dr. has arranged for me to have an MRI after I refused a mammogram (I have no health problems, just a family history of breast cancer). I have just found out that gadolinium will be injected into me to make the MRI more readable. According to the internet, gadolinium is a burnable poison used for many things, including nuclear submarine fuel (?)! Can anyone out there advise me? I feel that being injected with a substance (especially something labeled a burnable poison), so they can look for something that might be there is crazy. Help.
