Whew! Anger issues??

It's interesting what you leave out...one of the main reasons that we have child support is because there are men that aren't being RESPONSIBLE and taking care of their children. There are men who leave their wives, who cheat on their wives and who beat their wifes. There are desperate situations where women must leave men for their own safety and their children's safety. Besides all the dead beat dad's. Not all women who want child support have cheated on their husbands or have become as you put it "whores"...which I might add is very disrespectful and offensive. Child support laws are there for a reason and men should take care of their children no matter what their wife or ex-wife does. Speaking of scripture, you left out an important part of one:

Ephesians 5:23-33

23 For the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the Head of the church, Himself the Savior of [His] body.

24 As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands.

25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her,

26 So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word,

27 That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].

28 Even so husbands should love their wives as [being in a sense] their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

29 For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and carefully protects and cherishes it, as Christ does the church,

30 Because we are members (parts) of His body.

31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.(D)

32 This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ and the church.

33 However, let each man of you [without exception] love his wife as [being in a sense] his very own self; and let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband [that she notices him, regards him, honors him, prefers him, venerates, and esteems him; and that she defers to him, praises him, and loves and admires him exceedingly]

You forgot to mention that a man must love, cherish, nourish and protect his wife. To treat his wife as Christ treated the church, which he died for. A man who goes around boasting about being the head of his wife and she has to obey his every command is not upholding his responsibility that God has given him. If you cherish your wife you listen to her, her needs and her wants and you make a fair decision considering her in everything you do. The man may be head of house and the woman must respect his decision but a man who truly knows the meaning of that scripture will consider his wife lovingly in everything he does and considers doing. He will not be a tyrant or a mentally/physically abusive monster and say that God said it was okay.

You slammed Corinthian because you quoted the bible in your post and he/she didn't. Just so you know...quoting the bible doesn't mean you're right. Anyone can quote the bible...even the devil. All you need to know is how to read and talk...A child can do that.

Also...it is up to every individual how their marriage goes and how they lead their life...not God. He is no liar or sinner. He gave the guidelines - it's up to man to follow them and have a relationship/friendship with Jesus. If a marriage falls apart it's not God's fault - it's the people who were in the marriage and how they formed their relationship and treated each other. Saying that God is a liar and sinner b/c your marriage didn't work out is a cop-out, an excuse.
