What I like on my salads:

• just lemon juice

or

• fresh squeezed lemon (or lime)
• salt and pepper (to taste)
• pinch of turbinato sugar (very, very little)

or

• balsamic vinegar
• extra virgin olive oil
• salt and pepper (to taste)
• pinch of turbinato sugar (very, very little)

My husband and 18 year old son also like their salads with these dressings.  All of these choices are preferable to me because there are no added chemicals.  It's a nice change from the commercially sold varieties.
