And thank you for your castor oil story.

At this point, I am only guessing.

I have heard of taking it with orange juice, but I haven't heard of that not working.

I suppose I'll just have to try it.

The other day we tried to buy a little Cascara sagrada at the healthfood store. They were out, so they gave my husband a mixed tea which contained some Cascara.

When I read the ingredients the main one was Senna. Groan!

Senna and I go a long way back. I was so apprehensive that I brewed only half a tea bag. The following day I brewed the other half.

Nothing, not a twinge. (There was a small drink of Epsom Salts before that.)

It was then I started eyeing up the Castor oil...and thinking it must be true about a microscopic critter actually causing constipation. When I thought about my experiences with milk and cheese, it seemed to make sense.

I just wanted you all to know my experiences before I disappear for a while.

Actually, I've had no action since. That's unusual for me...to miss a day. I think I'll be into the Castor oil before long...but, just a taste, to start.

First, I gotta experiment with avocadoes...yum! Thank you so much, Hamadryad!
