My strings went up into my cervix with the IUD. The Doc confirmed with an ultrasound.
They advised that it was fine that way-just know real way to check every month that the thing is still there...(suprise preggo). But the idea of those metal strings poking around in there doesn't sit well with me and I am dying to have it out ASAP for other reasons.
