This is excellent brainstorming--your good. Since PCR is very accurate, I am inclined to think there is something to investigate along these lines. It has already been established that morgellions fibers are nanotech related, but the biological and genetic mechanisms are still a mystery. I personally believe there is many facets to the phenomenon, including multiple genetic evolutions taking place as the progenitor factors {whatever they are} find new vectors, especially mycoplasma bacteria.
