Just as an additional note, I eat very well and still have trouble with anemia because of my body's inability to process protein well.

I often take supplements on a daily basis, but have to lay off when my stomach starts hurting.

I know there are things to eat with iron to help absorption but my body can only do so much with one kidney.

Everyone, if you haven't already today, tell your kidneys you love them!
