Thanks Mama Crow and Archus for your quick replies. I have just read more on the post you suggested Mama Crow but I still don't understand if it is ok to take Iodine for longer then three weeks. I have read that it's not good to take it for longer the three weeks because it can depress the thyroid, yet lots of people here seem to be taking it for loads longer then that...is that safe?

Also thanks Auchus for the suggestion of taking my temperture I have thought about that and not got a round to it, though I think your right I should give it a go. My diet is fairly good I try not to eat bread and to eat well, veg, fruit, brown rice,so on. I have been veggie most of my adult life and I exercise regular though not every day.
