Your postings were informative and reassuring. I've done 19 flushes now, and had expected this nasty side-effect to reduce over time. So Flush #19 ending with a burn really took me by surprise. Particularly considering my low meat diet this month!

Hm...so this suggests that as the liver becomes healthier, we might still experience the odd butt-scalding...huh! And this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Any ideas on why flushes (for me, anyways) tend to begin and end with a burn? My first few were burn, baby, burn all the way through, but now flushes only begin and end with a burn! I've come to associate it with the "gates" opening and closing. Are there others out there with the same results?

Telman, any comments/information from you?
