A girlfriend of mine has a couple cosmetic surgery scars that she is experimenting with. She painted it twice within the last week so far, and yes, it flaked. She could rub off the skin in the shower. However, the good skin surrounding the scar which also got Iodine on it does not flake. I think it eats up bad tissue and leaves healthy skin alone. She said it burned a little after applying and was a little irritated the next day. Again, only the scar, not the healthy tissue.
