The HUMAWORM is pulling the bacteria/viruses/parasites to the surface and his immune system is kicking in to help by providing the fever. Many viruses and bacteria can't live above body temp - so the fever is killing them right now. Just do not let it go too high.

Give him plenty of fluids and make sure his bowels are moving. His die-off should not last too long.
